acrylic paint and various art/collage findings on a 24x18 canvas

i made this when i was living alone in a studio apartments. i had just moved out of a one bedroom apartment with my an old boyfriend (EW) and didn’t know what to do. so one evening i wanted to try to paint a snail and i hated what it looked like so i painted this on top. looking at it now, i think it’s an accurate representation of how my mental state was during that time / scattered and sad.

luckily - im out of this state now (or at least more good days than bad).
