acrylic paint, sharpie, and stickers on a 24x18 canvas

i created this after a friend of mine passed away this summer. it was abrupt and while i didn’t know him that well i still wanted to make something that represented my feelings about what had happened. sadness, anger, and regret for not making a better effort to be his friend. it’s unfortunate that these realizations happen after someone close to you is no longer on this plane.

i didn’t intend to sell it when i made it. i just wanted to make something from the heart, to let people and myself know that i miss him and wish i put more effort into a friendship with him.
